Biffa provides a service for 72,000 industrial and commercial customers

Biffa has been named one of the UK’s strongest business brands in the Superbrands UK annual rankings.

Ranked alongside household names such as Apple, Visa and Samsung, Biffa was selected by 2,5000 business UK professionals based on factors including quality, reliability and distinction.

Founded in 1912 by Richard Henry Biffa, the recycling and waste management company now employs 7,800 people, providing for 72,000 industrial and commercial customers and 2.4m domestic waste customers nationwide.

It was praised by Superbrands for its effort in pushing forward waste management and public safety issues through educational campaigns such as Wasteater and Driving Reckless on Pavements (DROPs).
