CooperOstlund, a specialist of gas engine specification and maintenance services, has added fabrication capability to its portfolio of biogas site development services.

"From pipework and exhaust connections to secondary sump welding and complete access platform installation, the in-house offering will provide clients nationwide with a completely integrated installation solution. With all staff qualified by the Gas Safe Registration certification, facilities will be assured of a high-quality fabrication offering," said Johan Ostlund, director at Northamptonshire-based CooperOstlund. “Bringing fabrication capability in-house comes as part of a wider business strategy to ensure the highest quality site installation offering possible.

“With some site development providers, external resourcing means that projects will overrun, due to unavailability of staff – especially for more complicated jobs. Bringing this capability in-house means that we can pre-plan and manage resourcing accordingly, ensuring our team will always be on hand to deliver high quality work to a short deadline,” added Ostlund.
