Drinks can recycling campaign in Scotland supports Carers Trust charity
An aluminium drinks cans recycling initiative which raises money young carers under 25 has been launched in Scotland.
Supported by the free-to-use Every Can County recycling programme, the campaign will see ACE recycling donate £250 to Carers Trust for every tonne of aluminium cans collected from central Scottish businesses.
Malcolm McArdle, MD of ACE Recycling, said: "Our aim is to encourage businesses to recycle more drinks cans whilst supporting a good cause.
"Donating 25% of the value of the aluminium cans collected will raise valuable funds for Carers Trust Scotland, who will then support young carers to improve their everyday lives"
All of the drinks can collected will be processed and recycled by ACE Recycling.
