Pollard will oversee and manage Ecosurety's technical and procurement teams, focusing on the commercial activities and performance of the business.
He will report to Ecosurety’s CEO James Piper and will also become a member of the Ecosurety board.
Commenting on his new role, Pollard said: “I am delighted to have joined Ecosurety at an exciting time for both the firm and the wider industry and I look forward to helping shape the next stage of growth.”
Ecosurety has more than 1,000 members across the retail, food and drink sectors, as well as taking care of their recycling obligations, not only does this enable the UK’s recycling capacity to grow, it increases transparency by reducing the UK’s reliance on foreign recycling export markets.
