Recycling compliance scheme Ecosurety has appointed Neil Pollard as its Chief Operating Officer – a new position within the company.

Pollard will oversee and manage Ecosurety's technical and procurement teams, focusing on the commercial activities and performance of the business.

Ecosurety has more than 1,000 members across the retail, food and drink sectors, as well as taking care of their recycling obligations, not only does this enable the UK’s recycling capacity to grow, it increases transparency by reducing the UK’s reliance on foreign recycling export markets.

James Piper, CEO of Ecosurety, added: “Neil’s extensive experience in the operations and finance sector and his strong track-record for capacity-building and financial control will be a huge asset to Ecosurety.”
